Content: While domestic violence remains primarily a matter of state and local jurisdiction, there are several federal laws available for prosecuting domestic violence and stalking offenders. It is important that law enforcement, attorneys and advocates work together with federal prosecutors to identify these crimes for potential federal prosecution. This webinar will provide an overview of the federal statutes available and discuss how system actors can work cooperatively with federal prosecutors to pursue charges.
