Making Your CCR Work: How the Blueprint for Safety Can Transform your Criminal Legal System Response to Domestic Violence
Learn about a method for infusing new focus and energy into your criminal legal system response to domestic violence crimes. The Blueprint for Safety articulates an effective plan any CCR can use to enhance its capacity to stop violence, reduce harm and save lives.
Originally developed and implemented in Saint Paul, Minnesota, OVW is now funding the Blueprint intervention model in Duluth, Minnesota, New Orleans, Louisiana, Shelby County/Memphis, Tennessee, Marquette and Midland Counties in Michigan, and Richmond, Kentucky.

The Blueprint Guide is a step-by-step resource to becoming a Blueprint for Safety community. Starting with a readiness assessment, the Guide lays out the phases, processes, and key people needed to successfully adapt, implement, and monitor a Blueprint response. Make sure to check out the Guide Appendices for tools and resources that you can incorporate into your grant application.
