Building College Prevention and Response Efforts
Stalking recognition and response should be integrated into awareness education, safety planning, and adjudication on college campuses and secondary schools. Though stalking victimization is prevalent among adolescents and young adults and covered under the Clery Act, stalking is rarely addressed on campuses to the same degree as intimate partner and/or sexual violence. This session discusses the dynamics of stalking among young adults and adolescents and highlights strategies, tools, and ready-to-use programs and activities to better integrate stalking into existing awareness efforts and elevate the public discourse on stalking.
