Description: Ruined or no credit often contributes to survivors inability to get and maintain their safety. NNEDV’s Independence Project was created to help survivors build their credit score by providing a $100 no-fee, no interest loan. Additionally, advocates will get a better understanding of not only how the Independence Project works, but what advocates can do to help improve outcomes for survivors. The Independence Project is now available to all US states and territories.
