The Importance of Building a Coordinated Community Centered Response (CCR) to Indigenous Children and Youth

Description: In the session we will discuss why every tribal community needs a Coordinated Community Response (CCR) to Indigenous children and youth impacted by domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking, teen dating and sex trafficking. How to start a CCR. in your community or at your school. Effective leadership for your program. We will look at what partnerships will need to be involved with your CCR and identifying your support network. Very CCR faces barriers we can help you navigate through them as they arise examples: Confidentiality, Children’s rights, ICWA, Federal and tribal laws. CCR are important community networking tools for you and our youth.
