Description: Recent articles have highlighted the common occurrence of women being forced to co-parent with their abusers. Women have been commonly ignored as they try to file for protective orders or show existing orders or physical evidence of abuse. The presenters will analyze three cases of violence against women during child exchanges and they will discuss how the violence was targeted through children, friends, and family. Attendees will review red flags and warning signs of this type of domestic violence and identify ways to prevent it.
