LETTAC Webinar Series: Human Trafficking and Intimate Partner Violence (Session 3): TraumaInformed Screening, Interviewing, Survivor Support, and Collaboration

Topic: LETTAC Webinar Series: Human Trafficking and Intimate Partner Violence (Session 3): TraumaInformed Screening, Interviewing, Survivor Support, and Collaboration

Hosted By: Institute for Intergovernmental Research

Date/Time: Friday, February 10, 2023 1:00am -2:00am ChST

Description: The National Violence Against Women Law Enforcement Training and Technical Assistance Consortium (LETTAC) invites you to join the LETTAC Webinar Series: Human Trafficking and Intimate Partner Violence: Intersectionality, Trauma-Informed Investigation, Victim Identification, and Multidisciplinary Collaboration. Why this lens on human trafficking? Because there is a marked overlap in the pattern of behaviors that both DVSA abusers and traffickers use to exert power and control over a victim. In session 3, " Trauma-Informed Screening, Interviewing, Survivor Support, and Collaboration," your trainers—Chief David Ryan (retired) and licensed mental health counselor Courtney W. Albert—will share their longstanding dedication and spotlight how to effectively, compassionately, and holistically serve and support survivors of these intersecting crimes. There is no fee to attend. Immediate questions are welcomed at Contact@LETTAC.org. We look forward to your participation!
