Description: This virtual, interactive, 8-session series will provide the foundations of restorative practices and a fundamental understanding of how to serve as a facilitator in basic restorative practices that include restorative conversations with criminal system clients and survivors, specifically focused on survivors of domestic violence/intimate partner violence, sexual assault, stalking and dating violence. In each 2.5-hour session, participants will acquire knowledge, practice skills and receive interim assignments to supplement their learning. (There will be approximately 4 hours of supplemental work each week (discussions/assignments on harm with criminal system clients, videos, accountability circles, and circles with surrogate survivors). Participants who complete training will be ready to work with a mentor/coach and begin their practice as a restorative practices facilitator in basic restorative

In honor of National Stalking Awareness Month, this webinar provides an introduction to the crime of stalking, focusing on the definition, prevalence, dynamics, behaviors and intersections with other crimes (including intimate partner violence). This recurring webinar is offered quarterly to provide foundational knowledge on the crime of stalking.
