The presenters will review common safety issues that arise in various areas of survivors’ lives (e.g., at home, in school, at work, etc.) and discuss potential remedies, highlight key considerations when working with survivors from underserved and otherwise marginalized communities, and provide practical examples and tools for crafting an effective safety plan. Note: This webinar is for non-attorney legal advocates at community-based organizations that receive — or are eligible to receive — funding through the Office on Violence Against Women.
