A training institute for law enforcement officers, prosecutors, advocates, coordinators, probation officers, batterer intervention program staff, and other coordinated community response (CCR) partners, to build inter-agency strategies and skills to improve outcomes in cases involving battering.

Rural grantees may use OVW set-aside training funds for travel expenses and do not need approval from their OVW program specialist.

This is a rare opportunity for community partners to learn together how to strengthen, expand, and give new direction to your CCR. Participants will leave on the same page with an understanding of how they can effectively prioritize and implement solutions that enhance protections for victims and their children, hold offenders accountable, and sustain best practices in response to battering.

Moving from networking to taking action

The Blueprint for Safety

Identifying and accounting for risk and danger

Approaches to effective victim engagement

Discipline-specific tracks will be offered for:

CCR coordination and advocacy

There is no registration fee to attend. A wait list is available for communities that wish to send more than 4 people (please indicate wait list registrants on the registration form). When we receive your registration, we will send you preliminary confirmation that indicates we are holding a space for you at this event.
