Description: Adopting a victim/survivor-centered approach in the supervision and treatment of adult sex offenders is important for teams working within this field. Developing meaningful, real-world strategies to involve victim/survivors and advocates in the supervision and treatment of sexual abusers will help teams hold offenders accountable for their behaviors while, more importantly, empowering and potentially helping victim/survivors in their recovery process. During the webinar, you will learn new strategies to increase collaborations between community supervision professionals and victim/survivor service providers; look at approaches that are victim and survivor-centered; and explore what these approaches provide to victims and survivors.
