The National Center on Domestic Violence, Trauma & Mental Health (NCDVTMH) is releasing its revised Organizational Reflection Tool, formerly known as the ACDVTI Tool (Accessible, Culturally Relevant, Domestic Violence- and Trauma-Informed Agencies Tool). This resource has been redesigned specifically for programs serving survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault and their children. It offers a flexible but comprehensive approach to examining and reflecting on the various aspects of our work that are involved in the creation of accessible, culturally responsive, and trauma-informed (ACRTI) services and organizations. NCDVTMH developed this tool to support the integration of a trauma-informed framework that incorporates understandings of culture, domestic violence, sexual assault, human rights and social justice and that is grounded in the perspectives of survivors. The revised version also provides expanded guidance on accessibility and community collaboration.
