Description: Relocation Privacy Planning for the Longer-Term with Jessie Lowell, Technology Safety Specialist with Safety Net & Laurel Goldstein, Staff Attorney with Greater Boston Legal Services The Safety Net Project at the National Network to End Domestic Violence is excited to announce a webinar that will go beyond the urgent privacy and safety questions survivors and advocates have about technology when a survivor is coming into shelter or relocating. What about later on, when survivors are looking to rent or buy a home, or want to post their profile when looking for a job or networking? In this 90-minute session, we will focus on longer-term relocation and privacy concerns, including the risks from data brokers and people search sites. We'll also discuss methods for protecting new contact information such as Address Confidentiality Programs, privacy settings in social media accounts, and more.
