No SANE in Sight: An Introduction to a Training for ALL Healthcare Providers on Caring for the Patient Who Has Been Sexually Assaulted

Description: This webinar will provide an overview of the minimum training recommendations for any non-SANE trained healthcare provider delivering care to the patient who has been sexually assaulted and/or abused when there is no access to a sexual assault nurse examiner (SANE) or sexual assault forensic examiner (SAFE). The webinar will also include information on several national guidance documents that are freely available to assist clinicians with understanding best practice and providing care that is patient-centered and trauma informed to these patients.
