Description: Multidisciplinary teams are invited to participate in A Multi-Day Virtual Institute (day 1 of 4): Building Collaborative Responses to Trafficked Victims of Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault. The Institute will focus on improving collaborative responses for domestic violence and sexual assault survivors who have also experienced human trafficking. As a result of the Institute, participants will be better able to: 1) Strengthen multi-disciplinary collaborative strategies in responding to youth and adult trafficked survivors with domestic violence and sexual assault experiences. 2) Define and clarify professional and organizational roles and responsibilities in responding to trafficked survivors. 3) Identify ways human trafficking can intersect with domestic and sexual violence. 4) Provide a survivor-centered and traumainformed collaborative response. 5) Create an action plan to develop and implement a multidisciplinary support to address human trafficking in your community. Dates: November 15, November 17, December 1, December 8, 2022, Time: 2:00 p.m. EST, 1:00 p.m. CST, 11:00 a.m. PST (2 Hrs., plus collaboration assignments). Each meeting will begin with reflections and questions on the corresponding eCourse module, and then host a guest speaker who will highlight an innovative program in the field related to that month’s topic.
