April 4 - Wednesday - The Office of Accommodative Services and TOHGE will begin a series of free weekly dialogues in the month of April aimed at promoting awareness of health-related issues and resources to include, but not be limited to, the following: substance abuse, mental health/illness, suicide, and disabilities. The first topic will be substance abuse. This first dialogue will be on Wednesday, April 4, 2018 in GCC’s Multi-Purpose Auditorium in Building 400. This dialogue will start at 10:00am and run to no later than11:15am. It is open to the public. Students, faculty, and staff of GCC, UOG, and Guam Contractors Construction Trades Academy are encouraged to attend. Included will be substance abuse testimonials of about 10 – 12 minutes each from 4 speakers. Attendees will be encouraged to engage in meaningful dialogue with the presenters. Students majoring in or persons working in the areas of Counseling, Social Work, Nursing, Criminal Justice, Human Resources, and Education will find this event helpful.
