Opportunities such as providing input on budgets and weighing in on school board policies and regulations will be discussed. Learn about refugee parental rights, such as receiving information in a language one understands, that impact civic engagement. Finally, learn about the new Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) and how it may affect refugee students and families.
